Preparing a model for an estimate
File revision, units, quantity and requirements in one brief.
Check the file
Open the exported model and compare its bounds with a known dimension. Remove stray objects and verify the part list. Use a format supported by the relevant calculator tab. A ZIP should contain a clear package without unrelated programs or nested archives.
Add requirements
Specify quantity, material, important surfaces, finishing and critical dimensions. List quantities separately for multiple parts. Label exploratory variants clearly and do not mix files from different revisions.
Review the order
After estimating, check the model, selected parameters, order contents and delivery. Uploading a file does not place or pay for an order. Recalculate after changes and manufacture the agreed revision.
