Reverse Engineering Service
Reconstruct a part model from a sample, measurements and available documentation. The goal is an agreed design for further editing or manufacturing.
Function and rights
Describe how the part works, what it mates with and why reconstruction is needed. Provide samples and documentation you are entitled to use. A worn sample may differ from the original design.
Measurement and modeling
Inputs may include reference dimensions, drawings and a surface scan. Geometry is reconstructed and ambiguous features are reviewed. Fillets, fits and threads cannot be selected by appearance alone.
Validate the design
Define critical dimensions and acceptance criteria. For mating parts, a trial part and assembly check are useful. Changing material or process may require design changes; copying appearance does not guarantee identical properties.
Deliverables and pricing
Agree on models, drawings, formats and iteration scope before work starts. Price depends on geometry, input quality and validation requirements. Prototype and batch manufacturing are estimated separately.
Order process
- Send the file, dimensions and requirements.
- Agree on deliverables, price and timing before paying.
- Review the final order and available delivery method.
- Receive and inspect the part or digital deliverable.
Manufacturing and delivery
Production is based in Saint Petersburg. Ozon delivers physical orders to supported addresses in Russia; availability and price are checked at checkout. The website does not offer worldwide shipping. Arrange scanning sample handover separately.
The production period is up to 3 days.
Manufacturing and delivery termsFrequently asked questions
Can a broken part be reconstructed?
It depends on the remaining geometry and reference data. Missing regions must be discussed rather than treated as known.
Is a 3D scan required?
Not always. A drawing and measurements may suffice for a simple dimensional part; scanning can help with complex surfaces.
